Pickleball professional coach
Originally from Bucharest, Romania, Andrei has built a remarkable athletic journey that bridges two worlds — tennis and pickleball.
A scholarship athlete at the University of Oklahoma, he graduated in 2010 after earning All-American honors in his senior year. Following college, he pursued a professional tennis career, reaching a career-high doubles ranking of No. 120 in the world, representing Romania in Davis Cup competition, and competing on some of the sport’s grandest stages, including the 2015 US Open.
In 2017, while in Florida at BallenIsles Country Club, he discovered pickleball — and a new competitive passion was born. Since then, he has become a force on the pro circuit, claiming titles such as 2023 MLP Atlanta Champion with the Orlando Squeeze and 2024 PPA Silver Medalist at the Mesa Open.
Driven by precision, discipline, and a deep love for the game, Andrei continues to inspire both players and fans through his dedication and excellence on court.
